Yeah, easiest way would just to be to specify "EST" while announcing times.

What are you complaining about? You are in EST!

So Haf thinks she has no love and Aurland thinks we (I) can do math.
What a deluded group we all are....
This is why I love RB!!
Carry on....

I think continuing to post it in EST in the MOTD is fine. We're all adults here, we can do the basic translation of +5 or -3.

Then the euro peeps will want some love. I haven't got that much love to go around man.
PS I do have that much love to go around but lack the energy to do anything about it.

Oh bollocks, they try to make it work better and it fargs us all up.....
This should be an easy work around though, maybe a kinmail to notify people.
We could also post EST and PST times on the MOTD and let the peeps in the middle zones do the math.
Food for thought...

That's a real bummer. Our MOTD will have the EST time still. This will cause confusion.

Just a heads up for those who closed the notification today from GuildLaunch. Starting today, all raid times are in YOUR time zone, adjusted from the raid creator's time zone if necessary. Please adjust accordingly!
Smart Timezones
When members of a game community, who are often playing in vastly different timezones, schedule a tournament or raid, all participants will see the scheduled event at the correct time in their own timezone. We are switching from GMT offsets to named timezones. This makes it so that no DST settings are necessary and improves accuracy. In addition, you can now set a timezone on all scheduled events.
If you have an existing account, the update will detect your timezone based on your profile settings (click “edit profile” in your user profile and scroll down to view timezone settings). New registrants’ timezones will be automatically detected.
