Wow, this was worth a look.  I had never heard the story about Feanor and Galadriel.  I don't find it in the Silmarillion, although the setting was right for this to happen.

I always thought the interaction between Galadriel and Gimli was very relevent, it carries a strong message of forgiveness and understanding, but this puts it in a whole new light.
